Irish Studies in Asia (ISA)
Our
Story
ISA began as a collaboration between Irish and Japanese scholars with a shared passion for Irish culture, linguistics and literature. Some founding members met at Irish Studies conferences, others collaborated through their work at universities in Japan, and some connected through Irish events and networks in Japan. United by their interests, they envisioned a forum for dialogue and scholarship, launching the society to explore diverse themes within Irish Studies.
